Man Mo Temple, situated in Hollywood Road, is the largest one of its kind in Hong Kong. According to the brass bell in the temple recording a date of the “27th Year of Emperor Tao-kuang, Ching Dynasty”, it is assumed that the temple was built in 1847 and the year of 2012, is the celebration of 165th Anniversary.
To celebrate the 165th Anniversary of TWGHs Man Mo Temple, a set of 20 limited and commemorative stamps, showcases the picture of Man Mo Temple over 100 year ago and nowadays, is released for sale. This photos witnesses the changes of ancient temple and promotes the importance of historical and cultural conservation.
