Made in the 11th year of Tongzhi's regin (1872), the gold zhishi signs is carved with dragon pattern and placed outside the Man Mo Temple, carrying the words “sujing huibi (keep quiet abd evade)’ and “wuhui wujin (filth, stay away)". The zhishi signs in temples evolved from the signs held by attendants marching in front of emperor’s sedan chair in a parade during ancient times. The practical and designy file folder, has historical and cultural significance, keeps A4 size documents neatly organized.
