Tai Sui

Tai Sui – there are 60 of them – are Taoist deities derived from the concept of Taisui Shen, the Chinese God of Time. Drawing on the traditional Chinese year numbering system, Taoism believes the universe completes one cycle in 60 years, and a Tai Sui deity is responsible for each year.
