Six -year-old Kovis Lee steps across a Tiger Gate as Oscar Chung, eight, waits to follow in a reconstruction of a ritual performed six years ago in which they acknowledged Chai Kung, or Ji Gong, as their godfather. The reconstruction at Sheung Wan's Chai Kung Temple was on the eve of the International Ji Gong Cultural Festival which honours the Song dynasty Buddhist monk who was a folk hero known for helping those in need. Tours and an exhibition continue until December 21.
